Thanks Guys, for all your comments. I am learning fast. I did decide to go with the Continental Milestones and have positive feedback for those. The IRC's on the bike now seem to be the stock issue and desperately need to be replaced. I also decided to go with the 140/90-15 on the rear simply because it was available and am told it makes little difference even in the handling. I searched the web and although I could find the tires much cheaper than retail, by the time I figured in shipping, tubes, and mounting by others, I barely saved money, if any. Regardless of some recent comments, I thank everyone for their generous input. I have learned more from the wonderful Savage Owners here than you can imagine. I shall keep you posted on my escapades with this new speedometer cable. I sure hope it's easy! Thanks again, everyone!
